Two islands for a more focused plan
The Murano and Burano listing combines boat travel, a glassblowing demonstration and time to explore. It is a useful starting point when those two islands are the reason for your trip. Fewer stops can make the plan easier to understand, but do not assume it guarantees a longer stay on each island. Compare the actual departure you are buying, including how much of the total outing is spent travelling.
What adding Torcello changes
The three-island tour adds Torcello to the Murano and Burano itinerary. Choose it because you want that additional stop, rather than treating a higher island count as automatically better. An extra stop also means another boarding and return deadline. Check whether the itinerary gives the time you want there and whether any churches or museums you hope to enter need separate tickets. A boat stop is not an admission ticket.
Read the demonstration and free-time details
A glassblowing demonstration is a particular inclusion, not a promise of a glassmaking class or a souvenir to take home. Free time lets you explore within the tour schedule; it does not let you choose an independent return whenever you like. Note the meeting location and return time given at each island. If you plan a long lunch or shopping visit, compare that preference with the actual time ashore.
Departure point can decide the better option
Find the exact departure point on your confirmation, including which side of Venice it is on. A tour that fits your hotel and the previous activity can be more practical than one with an appealing title but a difficult connection. Check where it finishes too. Do not assume every boat returns you to the same place or that a station departure applies to every option in a listing.
When to go independently instead
An ACTV journey suits travellers who want to decide how long to stay on each island themselves and are happy planning public connections. It does not include the organised tour or a guaranteed demonstration. Compare the tour and vaporetto guide if that flexibility matters. For an organised outing, choose between the two booking cards below, then check the current itinerary, meeting instructions and terms for your date.
